Real Life?

  • Info

There have been a few times in my life when I have wondered, “Is this real life?” Exploring the Hornstrandir Nature Reserve is one of those times.

The Hornstrandir Peninsula is only accessible via extensive hiking or water transport. While there, I was sleeping on a pirate ship and jumping into the arctic waters from its mast, eating meals made from the local flora and fauna, bathing in ice-cold waterfalls, and hiking and kayaking among the remote fjords.

I captured this photograph of this gorgeous ocean waterfall while dangling from the mast of our ship, not long before getting a closer look of the waterfall for myself.
