Sunrise at Mason Lake

  • Info

One Friday after work, some friends and I packed up and headed to the mountains. We completed most of the six and a half mile trail in the dark and when we arrived at the lake, our search for a campsite proved fruitless so we just laid out our sleeping bags at the base of a large boulder.

The next morning, I dragged everyone out of their sleeping bags at 4AM in order to make the peak by sunrise.

    Worth it.
